Reddybook Club ID โ€” Looking After Your Account Once It Is Open

Opening an ID takes one chat. Running it well takes a few settings, a couple of habits and knowing when to ask us for help. This page covers everything after the first login.

Settings Worth Changing in Your First Week

Most people leave the account settings exactly as they found them. A few minutes there saves a lot of trouble later. The exact menu names differ slightly between panel versions, but you will usually find these under your username or a settings icon in the top corner.

Stake presets

The row of stake buttons on the bet slip comes with default amounts that may be far larger than you would ever bet. Replace them with amounts that fit your own budget. A good pattern is your usual stake, half of it, double it, and nothing above what you would risk on a single bet. The point is that a careless tap during a fast session can only ever place a bet you meant to allow.

Odds display

Some panels let you choose how prices are shown. Where that option exists, stick with decimal odds for exchange markets. Your potential return is simply the stake times the price, which makes it the easiest format to check in your head. The bookmaker market will still show Indian-style rates either way.

One-click betting

If your panel offers one-click or quick betting, think carefully before you switch it on. It places a bet the moment you tap a price, with no bet slip to check. That helps experienced players in fast live markets. For everyone else, it is the most common cause of a bet placed on the wrong side or the wrong team. If you do turn it on, set a small default stake.

Accepting price changes

Some versions have a setting that accepts a better or worse price automatically if the odds move while you are confirming. Leave automatic acceptance of worse prices off. Then you decide whether a moved price is still a bet you want.

Changing Your Password, and When to Do It

You should already have replaced the temporary password from sign up. After that, change it again whenever one of these happens:

  • You typed or pasted it into any chat, including one with us.
  • You logged in on a phone or computer that is not yours.
  • You shared a screenshot and are not sure what was visible in it.
  • Someone in your household knows it and you would rather they did not.
  • You see a bet, login or statement entry you do not recognise. In that case, message us as well.

The option is normally called Change Password in the account menu. You will need the current password to set a new one. Use something you do not use for email, UPI or social media. If a site with the same password is ever leaked, your ID stays safe. A password manager, or even a note kept away from your phone, beats reusing a familiar word.

If you cannot remember the current password, you cannot change it yourself. Our Reddybook ID recovery page explains how we reset it.

Reading and Saving Your Statement

The account statement is the single most useful page on the panel, and the one most people never open. It is your record of every rupee that went in or out, and it settles almost every question you might later have about your balance.

What each line means

Entry type What it records
Deposit / creditMoney added to your ID after we confirmed your payment.
Withdrawal / debitMoney taken off the ID for a payout to your bank or UPI.
Settled marketThe net profit or loss on one market once it closed, such as a match odds market or one session.
Casino roundThe result of casino play, often grouped by game or table.
Void / cancelledA bet that was voided under the market rules, with the stake returned.

Each line usually shows a running balance. If your balance ever looks wrong, scroll back to the last line where you are sure it was right, then read forward. In nearly every case the "missing" money turns out to be exposure on an open bet or a market that settled while you were not watching.

Saving a copy

Most panels do not have a download button. Pick a date range, then use your browser's Print or Share option and choose "Save as PDF". On a phone, a few screenshots will do. Save a copy each month and after any large deposit or withdrawal. If you ever need to raise a query with us, a dated statement makes it quick to resolve.

The profit and loss report

Next to the statement there is usually a profit and loss view, grouped by sport or date. Glance at it once a week. It tells you which markets are costing you money, and that is often not the ones you would guess.

Setting Limits on Your ID

Exchange panels do not always have the self-service deposit and loss limits that big regulated betting apps have. That does not mean you cannot set limits. It means the limit is agreed between you and your agent.

  • Deposit cap: tell us the most you want to deposit in a week or a month. We will decline deposits above that cap until the period resets, even if you ask in the middle of a match.
  • Loss limit: tell us a figure. Once your losses for the period reach it, we pause the ID until the period ends.
  • Cooling-off: if you want any limit removed or raised, we wait a set period, such as 24 hours, before making the change. Lowering a limit takes effect straight away.

Put any limit in writing on WhatsApp so we both have a record of it. It may feel odd to ask your agent to stop you depositing, but a limit you set while calm is worth more than any decision made after a bad over. Our responsible gaming page has more on spotting when betting is becoming a problem.

Pausing the Account

You can pause your ID for a day, a week, a month or longer. Send us a message with the length of the break. We lock the ID for that period, and you will not be able to log in or bet until it ends. If you want the money out first, place the withdrawal request before you ask for the pause, so the payout goes through before the lock.

A pause does not close the account, and your balance and history remain. If you want the account closed for good instead, say so clearly. We will settle the balance to your own bank or UPI account and close the ID.

Using One ID on Several Devices

Your user ID and password work on any device with a modern browser. Phone, tablet and laptop all show the same balance and bets. A few things to keep in mind:

  • Each device keeps its own login, so logging out on one does not log you out on the others.
  • Bets placed on one device appear on the others after a refresh, not always instantly.
  • Avoid betting on the same market from two devices at once. It is easy to place a duplicate bet without noticing.
  • When you sell or replace a phone, log out of the panel and clear the browser data first.

Notifications and Staying in Touch

The panel itself rarely sends notifications. Changes such as a new login link, new deposit details or a scheduled maintenance window reach you from us on WhatsApp. To make sure you get them:

  • Keep our number saved in your contacts so our messages are not filtered.
  • Do not mute the chat permanently. Mute it for a few hours if you need to.
  • Treat any change of link or payment details from a number other than ours as suspicious, and check with us before acting.

Before You Go Inactive

Plenty of people use their ID heavily during the IPL and barely touch it for the rest of the year. If that sounds like you, spend two minutes on this before you put the phone down for a few months:

  1. Withdraw what you do not need. Money in your own bank account is safer than money on a panel you are not watching.
  2. Cancel any unmatched bets on future matches so they cannot be matched while you are away.
  3. Save your user ID somewhere outside WhatsApp, along with the date of your last statement.
  4. Change your password if anyone else has used your phone recently.
  5. Tell us if your number will change. It makes recovery much easier later.

When you come back, ask us for the current login link first. It may well have changed while you were away. If anything does not work, the steps on our ID recovery page cover forgotten details and long-inactive accounts.

Yes. Stake presets live in the account settings and you can edit them as often as you like. Changing them does not affect bets you have already placed.
Change it straight away if you have ever typed it into a chat, shared a screenshot of it or logged in on someone else's phone. Beyond that, changing it every few months is a sensible habit.
You can keep your own limit by depositing only a fixed amount each month. If you want a limit that you cannot override in the moment, message us and we will agree a cap with you and stick to it.
Yes. The same user ID and password work on any device with a browser. Log out of devices you no longer use, and never stay logged in on a shared computer.
Your balance stays on the ID. We still suggest withdrawing anything you will not need for a while, so it sits in your own bank account rather than on the panel.
The account statement on the panel lets you pick a date range. Take screenshots or save the page as a PDF from your browser. If you need an older period and cannot find it, ask us.
